Wood hauling has been a big part of our lives for the last 30 or so years because we have heated our home with a woodburning stove. Not only did it require alot of team work as a family, but it proved to include some fun and adventure! I remember when Nelson and Marvin loaded buckets after bucket of snow one winter and piled it on top of the wood pile. They packed it down to make it slick then slid off it on some inexpensive plastic sleds we had bought. Also Nelson, Marvin, and Brad Williamsen built towers to climb on, by going back and forth lots of layers high, like if they were building a log cabin.
